Meet Tom Cogsil DDS

Tom Cogsil, DDS

Dentistry has always been a part of Dr. Cogsil's life, as his father was a dental lab technician in North Palm Beach, Florida. So, after graduating from the Benjamin School in 1979 and then Wake Forest University in 1983, where he was a varsity swimmer and earned his bachelor's degree in physics, it was no surprise that Dr. Cogsil proceeded on to dental school at Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry.

Upon graduation, Dr. Cogsil immediately joined Dr. Donald Cooper's practice in Stuart, Florida, which is now Anchor Dental. However, his education did not stop once he had joined the workforce; Dr. Cogsil has participated in the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Clinic for over 25 years. Through this continual education, he has gained specialization in implants and restorative dentistry on top of the general dentistry he practices. He is also a member of the ADA, AGD, and International Congress of Oral Implantology.

Outside of the office, Dr. Cogsil has been married to Rabe Cogsil since 1988 and has two daughters, Taylor and Hannah. Taylor is married and completing her residency in orthopedic surgery in New York City. Hannah also lives in New York City where she is an event planner. When Dr. Cogsil is not at the office or at home with his family, you can typically find him on his boat fishing or kiteboarding.
